Jack McCoy revisits unused Malibu footage of the Marshall Brothers, longboard stylists he met while filming A Deeper Shade of Blue. When the south swells hit, he chased sessions with them, later crafting this slowed-down short from his favorite shots.

Movie Details
Synopsis It was Jamie Brisick who introduced me to the Marshall Brothers back when I was just starting to film sequences for my film A Deeper Shade Of Blue. I was in LA and I told Jamie I was looking for a hot long boarder to help tell our Malibu story in the film. He immediately said "I've got the guys!" I said I'm only looking for one guy and he said "wait till you meet these two brothers and I think you may change your mind."

For the next year, whenever I'd see a perfect direction south swell about to hit California I'd jump on the jet and spend a week or so with my two new best friends, the Marshall Brothers. Obviously I couldn't use all the footage I had of them in the film and so I recently strung up this little clip of a few of my favourite shots and Slooooooooooowed them down. Hope you dig it.
